Job Summary:
The
job holder will be responsible for handling advertising and promotions, media
and public relations, event management, corporate brand management, corporate
communications and publications and competitor monitoring functions of the
Bank.
The
position is also supervisory, with Marketing Officer reporting to the
incumbent.

Development and will be responsible for:
- Corporate events
like Press Conferences, prize givings, branding of Corporate Social
Responsibility events, customer seminars, get-togethers etc.
- Press relations,
public relations, corporate communications
- Product
exhibitions, stalls, marketing events, sponsored events, sales promotions
etc
- In branch
signage, branding, display material etc
- Product brand
maintenance – features maintenance, upgrades, brochures, displays, POP
material
- New Products –
features development, roll out communication material, media and marketing
events planning and execution etc.
- Corporate
publications – annual reports, calendars, customer gifts etc
- Bank’s website
content management and maintenance
- Customer
communication material and process
- Product
performance monitoring
Personal
Skills/Attributes:
- Leadership
skills with good interpersonal skills
- Smart,
articulate, intelligent with attractive personality and impeccable
communications skills
- Ability to make
decisions
Qualifications
and Experience:
- Graduate, MBA
preferred
- Exposure to
various markets desirable
- Experience in
banking, product development and management preferred
- Good
coordination, marketing & communication skills
- At least 7
years’ experience in working in Marketing Management functions in a
leading commercial bank, advertising agency or FMCG company in a
managerial capacity. THOSE IN SALES FUNCTIONS NEED NOT APPLY.

Head of Credit Monitoring & Control

Job Summary:
To supervise, control and monitor the credit portfolio of the Bank as laid down in the Credit Policy and Guidelines & Procedural Manuals and in compliance to the Banking Act, CBK Prudential Guidelines and Agreements with DFIs.

This will carried out with the objective of preserving and
enhancing the quality and safety of lending and promoting best practice within
the Bank.
Duties and Responsibilities

The Head of Credit Monitoring & Control will report to Head
of Credit Risk Management and will be responsible for:
- Overseeing
credit monitoring & control function and supervision of the staff in
the unit
- Preparing
/ review portfolio reports, management reports, statutory reports and
other external credit related reports
- Portfolio
risk measurement including risk classification of assets, assessment of
portfolio risk ratings and assets maturities, etc.
- Spearheading
operational risk management within credit function by reporting
operational risk, continuously review, identify and report breaches of
procedures and failures in controls
- Risk
control including provisioning, administration of Non-Performing Accounts
portfolio, follow up of insurance renewals, valuation reports, escalation
of cases where value of securities, follow up with Business Units on loan
arrears, excess drawings and expired limits, etc.
- Portfolio
risk monitoring including stress testing, review of compliance to set
terms, etc.
- Validation
of transactions and maintenances in the system
- Monitor
compliance to service level agreements with other departments

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor
degree in Accounting or Business disciplines
- Post-graduate
degree is an added advantage
- AKIB
- At
least 8 years’ experience in a banking environment of which 5 in credit
function of a busy commercial bank
- Practical
knowledge of Finacle Core Banking System is an added advantage
- Basic
legal knowledge
