Handyman - Nairobi
A dynamic company based in Nairobi is looking for of a handy
man.
Purpose
To perform basic general civil works, masonry, plumbing and
electrical maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and other jobs as
required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Secondary
level of education
- Hold
a Government Trade Test Grade 1 in electrical Installations &
Maintenance
- Have
at least three (3) years practical experience in electrical Installations
& Maintenance
- Be
within the age bracket of 25 – 35 years
- Demonstrate
ability to work with minimum supervision and under tight schedules
- Practical
experience in carpentry and craftsmanship
- Strong
drive for success and competitive desire to dominate their market.
- Successful
track record in your career.
- Ability
to multi-task and the desire to be an owner/operator.
Duties
- Move/load
and unload furniture, equipment and supplies.
- Painting.
- Undertake
repair and maintenance to all plumbing, leakage of the water mains where
possible.
- Attend
to breakdowns in the power generators and UPS systems and take corrective
action.
- Schedule
complete regular maintenance, servicing and repair of plant and equipment
in connection with these duties.
- Repair
of office furniture including replacement of locks
- Construction
of office partitions and repair.
- Electrical
cabling & fittings including sockets and extensions
- Lighting
systems, replacements of faulty lights and air conditioners
Salary: Ksh.35, 000
