Grants Manager
Location: Nairobi
Pathfinder International is an international non-profit
organization that is dedicated to supporting high-quality comprehensive and
integrated health services in Kenya.
In close coordination with the relevant finance, administration
and program staff, and under the supervision of the Deputy Project Director,
the Grants Manager is responsible for sub-grant oversight and management.
The oversight includes coordination and review of designated
subgrant proposals, processing of sub-grant agreements and subsequent
modifications, monitoring and financial management of the sub-grant during the
sub-award period, and closing of the subaward.
Job Requirements
- Degree
in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Must
be a Certified Public Accountant
- Minimum
of five years relevant work experience in a non-profit environment
- Extensive
work experience in international sub-grant project management in Kenya or
any other developing country.
- Qualification
and/or experience in project management would be an added advantage
- Thorough
understanding of USG rules and regulations and sound judgment in applying
them
- Excellent
organizational skills, detail oriented and high degree of accuracy; strong
analytical skills and sound judgment.
- Ability
to work independently and as a member of a team
- Good
communication, computer skills and experience with database software
