Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Consultancy Services in Fundraising
 
1. Background
 
The Management University of Africa (MUA) is a new premier private University located in the City of Nairobi, Kenya. It is sponsored by The Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).
 
KIM is a not - for - profit Management Profession membership based organization established in 1954. 

MUA was granted the legal status to operate as a University in Kenya by the Commission for Higher Education on 2nd September 2011.

MUA owns 3 acres of land in Nairobi South C where the Main Campus is currently based.

The University also owns some 80 acres in Kisaju, Kitengela for future development. Future plans include expanding the classrooms, library, faculty offices and car park to accommodate the growing number of students from Kenya, the rest of Africa and globally. Over the next three years, we expect to host over 2,000 in our South C Campus. Another 2,000 may be reached through Open and Distance Learning Module.
 
2. Description of services
 
MUA is seeking consultants to propose fundraising strategies that will be implemented in order to achieve the above expansion plans of her facilities.
 
3. Eligibility
 
To be invited to submit proposals, interested consultants must demonstrate their qualifications and experience in similar assignments. A list of references is mandatory. MUA will evaluate expression of interest based on the submitted documents. MUA reserves the right to conduct reference checks on the consultants.
 
4. Submission of expression of interest
 
All submissions must be sent in sealed envelopes clearly labeled “Expression of Interest for Consultancy services for fundraising strategies” and must be delivered to the address below on or before 20th JULY 2012, 4.00 PM.
