Karatina UniversityCollege was established as a Constituent College of Moi
University through legal notice No. 163 of October 2010.
Currently, the College offers degree and diploma programmes in
Education and Social Sciences, Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences,
Business, Agriculture and Biotechnology and Pure and Applied Sciences.
1.0 Senior Assistant Librarian:

Qualifications and Experience
- A
Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences or its equivalent
qualifications from a recognized University.
- Five
(5) years working experience in a well established automated
library/information centre at the level of Assistant Librarian.
- Published
at least three (3) articles in refereed journals or a book.
- Evidence
of attendance to seminars/workshops on modern information resources
management.
2.0 Assistant Librarian :

Qualifications and Experience
- A
Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences or its equivalent
qualifications from a recognized University.
- Four
(4) years working experience in a well established automated
library/information centre.
- Published
at least two (2) articles in refereed journals or a book.

Senior Technician in Horticulture

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have a Higher National Diploma in the relevant area with five (5) years working experience as Technician Grade C/D.
Or
A BSc. Degree in Horticulture or its equivalent with three (3) years working experience in an institution of higher learning or a large scale Horticultural firm.
Technician in Crop Science

- Holder
of a Diploma in Applied Biology

least three (3) years work experience in an academic institution or hands-

Qualifications and Experience
- Must
be a holder of Diploma in Food Nutrition or Human Nutrition or Nutrition
