Purpose of the Position: To provide Technical leadership and direction in implementation of child protection through education activities in North Rift per child protection through Education project proposal and provide technical backstopping to the IPAs- Lokori, Matete, Sook, Marich Pass and Kalapata IPAs in fulfillment of WVK’s Vision, Mission and the project goal of protecting the rights and wellbeing of children in the communities where WVK works.
Qualifications:  Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience:
·         LLb, BA in Social Sciences or Anthropology, BEd from a recognized institution.
·         An understanding of Human Rights and specifically Child protection, Child Rights and Social Justice issues.
·         Proficiency in use of computers especially MS Office. 3 years demonstrated experience in Child Rights, Child Protection and Advocacy working/programming working with donor funded programs.
·         Experience in program management, monitoring, and evaluation
·         Training and facilitation skills Resource mobilization through Proposal/concept papers development for fund raising
·         A strong aptitude for organizational change, participatory and servant leadership, innovation, learning, team building
·         Language fluency in English and Swahili
·         Full ability to communicate cross-culturally and be cross-culturally sensitive.
