Registration Officer II (Persons)

Basic Salary Scale: Ksh.21,304 – Ksh.25,895p.m. (Job Group ‘J’)
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
(i) a Bachelors degree in Social Science from a university recognized in Kenya; and
(ii) a certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for degree holders. An officer at this level will be on the job training and will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer.
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:
(i) identification and registration of applicants for identity cards through receiving and scrutinizing applications;
(ii) attending to and advising applicants on requirements for various registration services;
(iii) interviewing applicants to assess their eligibility for issuance of National Identity Cards;
(iv) issuing application forms to persons not registered earlier; and
(v) compiling reports on registration of persons.
