Main Tasks:
Hospital Director
Based in Dagahaley Refugee Camp
Main Tasks:
- Coordinating
medical and surgical activities at the Hospital and providing technical
support to the medical doctors at the hospital.
- Ensure
the quality of medical activities in the hospital - validation and implementation
of medical and therapeutic protocols, procedures and standards.
- Hospital
human resource management
- Ensuring
efficient use of resources - pharmacy and medical equipment utilization.
- Monitoring,
evaluation and reporting of hospital medical activities.
- Elaborate
the medical project of the hospital for the year: policy formulation and
planning, organisation of services and participation in the development of
the plan of action.
Requirements:
- Medical
doctor with diploma/degree recognised by the government and registered and
licensed by the Kenya Medical and Dentists Board.
- 2 years
experience as a medical doctor
- Minimum
1 year experience in Hospital Management
- Leadership
and management abilities, good organization skills
- Familiarity
or experience working with HIS and computer literacy with practical use of
MS-Office applications an advantage
- NGO
experience preferred
- Fluent
in Somali a strong advantage
- Willing
to live in Dagahaley refugee camp
