There
is very little in life more discouraging than spending thousands and thousands
of shillings (even if it’s your parents’) on an education only to find no one
willing to give you a job and a chance. At a time in your life when the bills start
pouring in, your home is in limbo, your relationships and friendships are
askew, and your excitement to get your life “started” is at its peak, there
really is nothing more crushing. It takes patience, faith, and hard work to
press on, maintain your confidence, and relax.
