Our
client in the insurance industry is looking to fill the position of a Unit Supervisor who will report to the Unit Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible
for driving the sales volumes of the organization through the sales force
team.
- Assist
the Unit manager in leading, directing and motivating the sales team in
order to achieve the organizations’ overall objectives
- Assist
in revising and implementing the sales strategies plans.
- Assist
in generating sales opportunities by identifying appropriate business
targets.
- Assist
the Unit manager in providing a professional and excellent level of
customer service with existing and new customers.
- Supervise
the sales force and provide directions to help meet the set goals and
objectives.
- Assist
the Unit manager complete all assigned duties
- Handle
customer issues, resolution and communicate escalated issues to the Unit
manager
- Assist
with sales force questions, concerns and product questions.
- Make
sure all sales force employees adhere to company policies and procedures
- Deliver
positive feedback, employee rewards and customer recognitions to sales
representatives and sales force team.
- Communicate
all employee relations issues, concerns, and incidents to Unit manager
- Report
and distribute management information highlighting areas for improvement
and those of concern and opportunity
Minimum qualifications, skills
and competencies
- Degree
or diploma in a business related field
- Certificate
of proficiency
- Good
IT skills
- At
least 2 years progressive experience in sales management
- Good
interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong
presentation skills
- Ability
to work under minimum supervision
