This is an IT support role to the entire team that ensures availability of IT systems.
- Maintenance
of website and email communication system
- Maintenance
of client database
- Manage
mini projects such as software and applications upgrades
- Ensure
appropriate maintenance of IT equipment in liaison with external vendors
as necessary
- Troubleshooting
and problem resolution
- Providing
support to the team on software and hardware issues
Successful applications should possess the following
- Diploma
in computer sciences or related field
- At
least 1 year experience in a similar role
- Good
interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team and provide
necessary technical support
- Excellent
working knowledge of Ms Office packages with ability to coach others
- Experience
in database management and maintenance
- Web-maintenance
experience would be an added advantage
- High
degree of honesty and integrity

To process non-motor insurance coverage requests from clients including documentation, assessment and calculation of premiums and other charges in liaison with Insurers
The duties of the role holder include:

To process non-motor insurance coverage requests from clients including documentation, assessment and calculation of premiums and other charges in liaison with Insurers
The duties of the role holder include:
- Analyzing
insurance applications and raise proposals to insurers
- Review
policy documents and confirm for correctness and recommend amendments
where necessary
- Draft
correspondence to Insurers in respect to policies
- Originate
instructions to insurers for policy renewals, extensions and endorsement
and make follow-ups on telephone or in writing
- Check
correctness of debits prior to passing copies to the Accounts department
for posting
- Occasionally
negotiate tariff rates with insurers
- Regular
interactions with clients and insurers both in writing and on telephone
mostly responding to various queries or provision of information
The successful candidate must possess the following minimum
criteria and personal qualities:
- Diploma
in Insurance related studies
- At
least 6 months experience in an insurance firm or brokerage with some
understanding of insurance documentation and procedures
- Basic
numeracy and analytical skills with good attention to detail.
- Working
knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Ability
to communicate in good business English (both written and oral)
- Good
personal organizational skills with ability to prioritize own workload
- Ability
to work independently and to cope with pressure and responsibility.
- Strong
interpersonal and communication skills; good team worker; multicultural
sensitivity to deal with diverse clients
- Client
relationship/Customer care skills
