We are seeking a highly motivated team player and qualified
professional to join our vibrant team as Depot
Manager.
The successful candidates will be responsible for management of a depot in a FCMG environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Administration
of all depot operations.
- Liaising
with the Head of Sales on ordering of stocks for the depot.
- Managing
stock levels and making key decisions on stock control.
- Ensuring
availability of all company range of products as well as supplies at the
depot at all times.
- Managing
and reconciling the inventory.
- Maintaining
all records pertaining to depot transactions
- Fleet
management within zone in liaison with relevant authorities.
- Ensuring
payments from customers are received on time as per the negotiations.
- Receive
and put away supplier purchase orders, stock transfers and customer
returns.
- Process
and dispatch customer orders, stock transfers and supplier returns.
- Organize
inventory within the depot by bin/storage unit, zone and location.
- Managing
and reconciling the inventory.
- Ensuring
standards for quality, health and safety are met at the depot
- Managing
the depot staff and Sales team attached at the depot, including performance
appraisal
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge:
- Bachelors
Degree in Commerce, Business Administration or its equivalent from a
recognized university.
- Knowledge
of Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency
in computer applications
- At
least 5 years experience in a similar position
- Willing
to work extensive hours
