Design Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator 

Successful candidate will be expected to contribute towards DME and report on WVS Programme / Projects covering health, nutrition, livelihood, water and sanitation, education, advocacy and humanitarian emergency affairs. 

Support in setting up and utilization of the DM&E frame aligned to Learning through Evaluation, Accountability and Planning/Integrated planning model. 

Major Responsibilities 
  • Support in setting up and utilization of the Design, Monitoring and Evaluation frame work aligned to LEAP/IPM.
  • Support project and program monitoring to ensure WVS and partner policies and standards are adhered to.
  • Build capacity of staff in participatory methodologies/community engagement process using LEAP/IPM guidelines.
  • Support projects and programs evaluations, reflections and scaling up of best practices
Qualifications 
  • Degree in Social Sciences
  • Practical experience in Monitoring and Evaluation and Program management essential
  • At least three years experience managing people and programs in an INGO context
  • High level expert in results based management, logical framework and organizational development
  • A community trainer and capacity builder in the area of DM&E.
  • Proficient in computer soft wares such as EPI info, SPSS, micro-soft office
  • Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Possess good communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Pro-active, creative, and possess excellent analytical skills

Food Security and Livelihood Program Officer 

Successful candidate will be expected to contribute towards DME and reporting in food security projects, technical backstopping and developing strategic partnerships with donors, CBOs, INGOs towards the ultimate goal of enhancing sustainable livelihood security and resiliency among vulnerable communities in Somalia 

Major Responsibilities 
  • Provide technical backstopping in programme/project design, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
  • Build capacity of staff and communities, in PRA, range management, Learning through evaluation and accountability in programming, DM&E and Disaster Risk Reduction.
  • Implement and document Rangeland Management and Disaster Risk Reduction
  • Participate in information sharing and donor relations.
Qualifications 
  • Degree in Social Sciences
  • At least three years experience range management
  • Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Possess good communication and inter-personal skills.

People and Culture Officer 

Candidate will be responsible for overall talent management and organizational development. 

Responsibilities 
  • Design and develop innovative and highly effective talent management programs and processes to improve the depth and diverseness of leadership talent
  • Provide proficient guidance on all phases of talent management such as succession management, assessment, talent pipelines, selection processes etc.
  • In collaboration with heads of departments and people and culture department, develop and execute an incorporated approach to development, learning and talent management
  • Work with managers to assess development needs, performance gaps analysis, design and lead programs that build people management and leadership skills and capabilities.
  • Continuously assess the existing leadership, management and technical skills across the organization and ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Manage and report on capacity building funds.
  • Establish and manage staff development resource center.
Qualifications 
  • Bachelors degree in Education.
  • Professional training in HRM added advantage
  • At least three year work experience in talent management
  • Good interpersonal skills, adaptability and flexibility
  • Communication skills are essential in both written and oral form

People and Culture Assistant 

Successful candidate will be responsible for administering and implementing staff benefits and compensation in alignment with existing organizational policies. 

Maintain accurate records of payroll, medical, insurance, statutory deductions, leave administration and any other relevant information pertaining to employees 

Major responsibilities 
  • Process payroll ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements
  • Handle medical, insurance and gratuity schemes
  • In collaboration with staff Welfare committee implement staff welfare activities as per policy
  • Provide administrative support within the department
  • Participate and contribute to the on going process of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of operations within the department
Qualifications 
  • A university degree in Human Resource Management
  • At least three years work experience in Human Resource department
  • Must be keen on details with good analytical skills
  • Must have a good understanding of Kenya Labor laws
  • Must have thorough knowledge of office systems, including computer applications.
  • Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment.

Commodities Tracking System Officer 

Successful candidate will gather, collate, analyze, and package information for a variety of internal and external stakeholders concerning WVS’s implementation. 

The incumbent will provide guidance and technical supervision to field CTS Assistants. 

Major responsibilities 
  • Ensure a Commodities Tracking System is in place, functional and provide monthly reports of all food and non-food aid programming following agreed reporting protocol.
  • Ensure Health Monitoring Information System (HMIS) tracking system is in place, and provides monthly reports on health interventions to all internal and external stakeholders, including the health cluster and UNICEF.
  • Collate Gift in Kind (GIK) and procurement data, analyze and package information to share with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collate, analyze and package information regarding the status of on-going projects for internal decision makers and external audiences.
Qualifications 
  • Degree in Social Sciences or related field.
  • Must have three years experience in relief commodity management
  • Must be willing to work in difficult relief settings
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft office packages (spreadsheets and word processors)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Compatible with WV Christian Ethos
Deputy Operations Coordinator 

Successful candidate will assist the Operations Director to provide operational leadership and management direction needed to successfully promote child focused, relief and rehabilitative programming. 

Major Responsibilities 
  • With guidance from the Program Design Unit, ensure proposals are implement on-time, on target and within budget.
  • Support the integration of cross cutting themes through the establishment of systems and processes across all World Vision Somalia operational areas.
  • In collaboration with Area managers, ensure that procurement, staffing and capacity building needs of field teams are addressed by support services on a timely and effective manner.
  • Support Area and Project managers meet compliance criteria for Quality Assurance, Support Services and People and Culture.
  • Collate regional budget requirements and package for decision makers and external audiences
  • Take a lead role in the implementation of action plans meant to expand current geographic and programming scope of World Vision Somalia.
Qualifications 
  • Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent field
  • At least three years work experience in humanitarian industry. Fragile state experience added advantage
  • Design, monitoring and evaluation skills essential
  • Ability to coordinate program implementation critical
  • Demonstrate well developed interpersonal skill
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to contribute to team building environment
