Finance Manager Job Vacancy in Kenya

We are Authorized Distributor for Hyundai Motor Company in Kenya and we are dealing in Selling of vehicles and providing after sales services.

The company is seeking to recruit a high caliber candidate to fill the position of 
Finance Manager in Kenya.

Position Summary:

This is a senior position and calls for a high level of maturity and ability to effectively interact and operate independently the entire functions of finance division.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and presenting monthly MIS reports to CEO / Head office, including Key Business performance indicators and analysis of variances against budget within specified deadlines;
  • Handling day to day operation of Finance Department including dealing with local banks;
  • Monthly Budget and Cash flow Projection preparation and reporting;
  • Annual Financial reporting in liaison with external auditors;
  • Compliance with all tax, company secretarial and regulatory requirements;
  • Maintenance and implementation of effective financial and internal control systems and development of internal control procedures;
  • Maintenance of all financials and accounting records of the company;
  • To act as the custodian of all company assets at all times;
  • Supervision and maintenance of the integrity and security of the operating accounting software and all accounting records and ensure regular backups and disaster recovery plans are in place.
Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting or related field and must be a fully qualified Accountant with ACCA or CPA or equivalent qualification;
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience as a Finance Manager or similar capacity;
  • Well versed with accounting software and applications;
  • Good understanding of International Accounting Standards;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
