Commissioner Nomination Opportunity to the Salaries and Remuneration Commission - APSEA

In Article 230 (2) (c) (iii) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and Part II, Section 7 (1) of the Salaries and Remuneration Act 2011, APSEA is required to nominate Two (2) professionals, drawn from our Membership, one of whom shall be appointed to the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.

To be qualified for appointment as a
 Commissioner, a person is required to:-
  • Hold a degree from a university recognized in Kenya;
  • Have knowledge and at least ten years’ experience in either:
  1. Finance and administration;
  2. Public management;
  3. Economics;
  4. Human resource management; or
  5. Labour laws.

  • Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Kenya Constitution, 2010; and
  • Have had a distinguished career in their respective fields.
Applications are invited in both hard and soft copy including an application letter, detailed curriculum vitae, copies of certificates and testimonials, a letter from their professional association confirming that the applicant is a member in good standing, a copy of their National Identity Card and three (3) referees including their contacts (telephone, email and postal address).
