Based in Africa, with significant continental and international travel
GALVmed (Global Alliance for Livestock Veterinary Medicines) is a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to develop vaccines, medicines and diagnostics to benefit the poorest livestock keepers in the developing world.
For GALVmed, M&E is essential to
(a) inform us if we’re delivering on time, budget and target
(b) inform our decisions on organisational processes,
(c) provide transparency of GALVmed’s operations to our Board and partners,
(d) meet donors’ reporting requirements,
(e) demonstrate best practice behaviour, enable auditing and scrutinising of our activities by partners, donors, governments, academia and the general public and
(f) contribute in the generation, collection and analysis of high quality livestock data useful for advocacy and policy.
Interested?  If you have……..
·         A degree, with post-graduate qualification
·         International experience and understanding of multi-lateral organisations, especially from not-for-profit sector
·         Developing country experience, preferably in Socio-Economic Impact assessment in livestock sector
·         Senior level M & E experience
·         An understanding of Policy & Advocacy within a multi-cultural, developmental setting
·         Excellent organisational skills with the ability to effectively communicate the pro poor agenda
·         Excellent written & verbal presentation skills
