The Mater Hospital, a leading health care provider in East and Central Africa, seeks to fill the above position.
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position is charged with the responsibility of coordinating activities within the Accounting function to ensure that relevant information and accurate reports are available for decision making at all times.

Tasks:
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly Management Accounts and Financial Reports for the Hospital
- Review of weekly cash flow forecasts
- Review of remittance advises and payment vouchers
- Approval and posting of manual journal vouchers
- To plan and supervise regular stock takes and stock counts
- Ensure proper maintenance of the Fixed Assets Register and periodical review of the same
- Formulate good procedures and management of all inventory functions
- Supervise staff in the unit and conduct performance appraisals as necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree with concentration in Accounting and or Finance
- CPA (K)
- At least five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant progressive accounting experience.
- Computer Proficiency - Microsoft office tools and accounting packages
