Personality questions in an interview: How to answer

There is a way we segment different questions in an interview. As an interviewer it may be very hard for you to notice but if you are on our side of the panel, there is a structure to follow. There are questions I will excuse you if you make a mistake and can easily overlook them. However, there are questions in the personality segment that I can’t let you off the hook easily. These are the most important questions in any interview setting and if you do not respond well to them, whore unto you.

You may already be asking yourself what questions are these? They are very simple to identify, because all that they relate to is your personality. In personality I mean, your problem solving skills, leadership stature, team player, response to various high pressure situations and your general response and handling of various situations. In any form of interview, whether oral or written, this is where you need to give your best shot. You can easily identify them by the time or space they are given to be answered. The panel will normally put emphasis that you can take more time to respond to each or if they are written, they will give more space.
