Maintenance Supervisor
The Maintenance Supervisor will have the following key responsibilities:
·         replacing greenhouse polythene
·         building hygrove type of greenhouses
·         carrying out support work on all crops
·         monitoring stock levels for different materials
·         maintaining a high level of health and safety
·         placement of signs at different sites at the farm
·         maintenance of post harvest sheds, drains and any other minor construction or repair as need arises.
Minimum requirements:
·         Certificate/Diploma in Agricultural Engineering/Building & Construction
·         3 years experience in a similar position
·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·         Efficiency and effectiveness in both work and staff supervision
·         Experience in greenhouse repair and maintenance will be an added advantage.
Roses Supervisor
The Roses Supervisor will supervise the production of our Roses crop with the following key accountabilities:
·         monitoring, reporting and instituting control measures on all pests and diseases
·         training; instructing and undertaking all plant management activities that drive production
·         proactive planning of daily activities including work allocation and effective staff leadership and ensuring efficiency of all agronomic activities
·         projecting people requirements, observing attendance and reporting any shortfalls on productivity to management
·         monitoring the irrigation and fertigation efficiency and advising where alterations are needed for maximum crop production
·         compliance with company health and safety policies.
Minimum requirements:
·         BSC in Horticulture/Agriculture
·         Minimum 3 years experience in a roses growing
·         Monitoring and evaluation skills
·         Knowledge of crop nutrition and pest management will be an added advantage.
Irrigation Supervisor
The Irrigation Supervisor will have the following key responsibilities:
·         carrying out daily people planning, duty allocation and supervision in the irrigation section
·         ensuring that irrigation, fertigation systems and equipment are in good working condition
·         implementation of irrigation and fertigation programmes
·         training employees on their tasks and ensuring compliance with health and safety policy
·         ensuring all pumps are in good working condition for proper water delivery
·         overseeing efficient operations of the priva , Sacom and venturi systems
·         taking water and medium samples for analysis as per program and needs
·         ensuring that all the fertilizers are mixed in the fertigation tanks as per the programs given
·         ensuring that all the irrigation and drip lines are in the right working order and arranging for repairs where there are defects
·         undertaking periodic audits of the whole irrigation infrastructure to ensure that it is working efficiently.
Minimum requirements:
·         Diploma in Water technology
·         Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position
·         Experience in flower growing will be an added advantage.
