We are looking for a 
Property Portfolio Investment Manager to be based in Nairobi, to join the company’s East African investment team.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the implementation and continuous revision of the house property investment strategy on behalf of our clients through:
  • Generation and maintenance of property assets deal pipeline
  • Evaluate the suitability of existing and new property investments
  • Carryout property market research and analysis across the larger Eastern African region
  • Generate property investment proposals and present the same to clients
  • Create and maintain appropriate property performance evaluation metrics and reports
  • Participate in various forums aimed at shaping the group’s property investment strategy and initiatives
  • Work closely with relevant regulators and property market professionals in creating suitable property investment vehicles for both institutional and retail investors
  • Manage all aspects relating to a new pooled property fund and standalone client property assets in conjunction with relevant professionals in the property market.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a property related discipline such as Land Economics, Surveying, Architecture, Building and Construction, Property Management, Engineering, Property Valuation etc
  • Membership to property related associations
  • Over 5 years experience with a property related institution preferably in project management role
  • A thorough understanding of the East African property market dynamics and trends
  • Post graduate qualifications in Finance, Economics, Business Administration etc will be an added advantage
  • Ability to construct and utilize financial valuation models.
  • Strong report and proposal writing skills and ability to communicate with a wide and diverse audience
  • Ability to maintain high degree of accuracy and keenness to detail
  • Strong IT and presentation skills
  • A thorough understanding of property analytics and property performance evaluation metrics
  • Involvement in the management or development of pension and insurance property assets will be an added advantage
