Due to first and sustainable growth our client, a world renowned company dealing in an international brand of vehicle requires a suitable candidates to fill in the following position.

Job Title: 
Marketing Manager

Reporting to: General Manager

Overall Goal: Responsible for brand position, sales volumes and customer awareness in all aspects of the business through effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organizations.

Specific Performance Standards

1. Product marketing
  • Product Position
  • Product Pricing
  • Product promotions and campaigns
  • Product launch for new products
2. Public Relations
  • Positive publicity of our products through the different media’s available
  • Designing strategic communication campaign that gives our product a competitive edge in the market place
  • Distinguish our product from the other products
  • Strengthen our Industry presence
3. Creative and innovative Marketing strategies/drives
  • Develop and implement an innovative and creative marketing strategy with equivalent Advertising value
  • Develop and implement innovative and creative marketing drives that will create market share growth
  • Develop ways of tapping into the different divided markets e.g.; growing market, emerging market, untapped market etc
4. Managing the Marketing budget
  • Plan and administer the company’s Marketing budget
5. Marketing Research

Carry out Market Research:
  • To learn and understand the market and its potential clients
  • To gather, analyse and apply data to give feedback on what the customers want and how well our product is responsive
  • Market brand comparisons
6. Marketing coordination
  • Coordination of all Marketing activities
  • Event management
7. Corporate Social Responsibility Coordination
  • Managing the business process to produce an overall positive impact on society
Job Requirements
  • Data-driven, with strong analytical skills
  • Innovative and intellectually curious - experience working with Agencies and advertising companies (newspaper/magazines/designs etc) is an added advantage
  • Strategic thinker - able to formulate and achieve challenging strategic objectives, based on clear understanding of market trends, customer needs and business imperatives
  • Understanding of market segmentation, database management and customer acquisition
  • Experience of preparing and managing budgets and assessing costs and benefits
  • Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to sell “promote” product by position products in the market
  • Demonstrate capacity for developing and understanding strategy
  • Good understanding of consumer technology and its developments
  • Experience in online marketing strategies
  • Strong networking skills
  • Over 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Must have a valid driving license
Education Requirements
  • A strong background in business, mathematics, marketing and computers is useful.
  • Leadership experience, involving managing teams, successfully implementing change and motivating staff throughout a change programme
