Bookshop Manager 

Maseno University is a fast growing public University in Western Kenya. The student population has grown steadily over the years since 1990 and now stands at 6,000. Apart from the students, there is the staff and general public who have been identified as potential customers in need of a well stocked and managed bookshop.

The bookshop will be also be an outlet for the University’s branded items. The University seeks to recruit a self-motivated and innovative Bookshop Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must be holders of at least a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines:
  • Business Administration
  • Commerce
  • Education
The candidates must also have at least five (5) years work experience in Bookshop Management in a University or a busy organization.

In addition, the candidates must have effective working knowledge of relevant computer applications, effective leadership and communications skills, exceptional marketing acumen and ability in report writing.

Candidates who have a Master’s degree in one of the disciplines listed above shall have added
