Applicants must have Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (MBchB or equivalent) from recognized institution, & be registered with Kenya Medical Practitioners Dentists Board.

Successful applicant will be responsible for clinical care of patients, supervision of clinic staff, collection & analysis of data, presentation of results at conferences, & writing of research papers.

Laboratory Technologist

Applicants must have Bsc Degree in Biomedical Technology or Higher National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science + minimum of 2 Years’ experience in busy laboratory working with human specimens.

Preference will be given to those with skills like STI & HIV diagnosis & monitoring.

Clinical Research Assistant 
1 Post

Applicants must have Kenya Enrolled Community Health or Family Planning Nursing qualification from recognized institution.

Those with equivalent technical training as Medical Assistants will be considered.

Applicants must have minimum 2 years work experience including counseling & collection of clinical specimens (e.g. blood & urine). Antiretroviral therapy certification will be added advantage.

Field Outreach Workers 
AD/2/53/11-(CHS) & AC/2/ 51/11-(CHS)

Applicants must have minimum KCSE Grade D+ & be able to communicate fluently In English & Kiswahili. Thorough Knowledge of Mombasa District & surrounding areas is essential.

Successful applicants will be responsible for participating in outreach work to conduct recruitment & tracing activities in field. Job requires a lot of walking.


Previous work experience in research setting is added advantage for all 5 posts. Appointment is on 1 year contract renewable on mutual agreement.
