Kisii Bottlers Limited, a leading beverage bottling franchise of The Coca Cola Company is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates for the vacancies mentioned below:

Area Sales Managers

Key Accountability / Result Areas

Reporting directly to The General Sales Manager, your principal accountability will be:-
  • Preparation, planning and executing sales and market coverage programs.
  • Effective implementation of the sales and marketing strategy.

  • Implementing management routines in the area, these include daily sales reports, customer lists, route coverage etc.
  • Planning,implementing and monitoring of budgets for the assigned area.
  • Supervising and undertaking sales promotions and merchandising to achieve maximum product availability, brand visibility and awareness at all levels.
  • Managing a sales team of (Sales Representatives and Merchandisers) to ensure achievement of set targets within the assigned territory.
  • Managing credit control function for the Sales Region.
  • Managing customer care in line with Company business strategy.
Qualification and Competencies
  • Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University, preferably business related.
  • An MBA/Diploma in sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
  • A high degree of strategic and commercial aptitude as well as excellent communication skills.
  • At least three years experience in managing a sales team in a business environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and computer literate.
  • Holder of a valid driving licence.
Sales Representatives

Key Accountability / Result Areas

Reporting directly to The Area Sales Manager, your principal accountability will be:-
  • Manage the sales activities within the assigned territory through the company sales agents.
  • Meet the set sales target within the assigned territory.
  • Engage the trade to create demand for company’s products & fulfill the requirements.
  • Establish customer requirements and provide information for decision-making and preparation of sales reports.
  • Supervise the merchandisers in the assigned territory to ensure outlet branding for maximum visibility of various brands and sales promotions.
  • Managing credit control for the company sales agents in the assigned territory.
Qualification and Competencies
  • A holder of Bachelors degree from a recognized university, preferably business related.
  • Diploma in sales and marketing /MBA will be an added advantage.
  • At least two years working experience in a sales environment.
  • High integrity, creativity and ability to focus on the customer needs.
  • Computer literate and holder of a valid driving licence.
Merchandisers

Key Accountability / Result Areas

Reporting directly to The Sales Representative, your principal accountability will be:-
  • Meeting the sales target for the assigned distributors/key accounts.
  • Merchandising and order generation at retail outlets.
  • Visibility and brand presence creation and monitoring.
  • Market surveys and intelligence.
Qualification and Competencies
  • A holder of Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • At least one year working experience, those with working experience in the FMCG environment will have an added advantage.
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills and computer literate.
  • Holders of a valid driving licence will have an added advantage.
Procurement Officer

Key Accountability / Result Areas

Reporting directly to The Finance Manager your principal accountability will be:-
  • Timely sourcing of quotations from approved suppliers and service providers in line with the company’s procurement policy.
  • Development, implementation and maintenance of robust internal controls and procedures to facilitate an effective and efficient procurement process.
  • To engage, develop and maintain good relations with suppliers and internal user departments.
  • Developing and implementing of both short and long-term procurement strategies designed to reduce costs, improve quality and service while meeting company goals and objectives.
Qualification and Competencies
  • A Bachelor’s degree in commerce or any business related field.
  • Diploma in purchasing & supplies mgt or chartered institute of purchasing and supplies.
  • At least Five (5) years experience in procurement in a busy organisation.
  • Membership to a professional body is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High integrity and well developed computer skills.
Accountant

Key Accountability / Result Areas

Reporting directly to The Senior Accountant your principal accountability will be:-
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data in the General Ledger by carrying out periodic reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate computation and timely filing of tax returns.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of robust internal controls and procedures over financial transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quartely and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in carrying out internal and external audits.
  • Management of accounts payables and undertaking of regular reconciliations of supplier accounts and quick resolution of issues thereof.
Qualification and Competencies
  • A Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration or a related field.
  • Full pofessional accounting qualifications e.g. CPA(K), ACCA.
  • A masters degree will be an added advantage.
  • At least five (5) years experience in accounting and finance with hands on experience in general ledger accounts management, audit and tax.
  • Membership to a professional accounting body is desirable.
