Functions of Position
Reporting to the General Manager, the Accountant will provide financial advice to the management of the company and implement efficient and effective financial management, accounting and administration systems.
The person will have the following Specific Responsibilities among others.
- Advice the management on all financial matters.
- Develop and implement sound financial policies.
- Ensuring that financial management, administrative, accounting system and procedures are operated.
- Preparation of timely and accurate accounting and management information including IT Systems.
- Preparation, co-ordination and monitoring of budgets and plans to ensure performance remain within agreed level.
Qualification
The ideal candidate should possess
The ideal candidate should possess
- At least a Bachelors degree and CPA III professional level
- Be conversant with computer accounting system.
- A working experience of at least two (2) years in accounts office with practical experience in Costing, Tax and Management Accounting.

This is a permanent job position subject to satisfactory completion of six months probation period and continued meeting the required targets.
The salary to be offered will depend on the persons previous experience and company’s salary’s scales.
