The Aga Khan University invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following positions:

Medical Oncologist

The Medical Oncologist will work with a highly skilled and competent oncology team to ensure the delivery of quality service to oncology patients.

S/he will participate in the development of evidence based protocols for oncology care and in the implementation of a “patient centered”, Comprehensive Regional Cancer Programme.

In consultation with medical leadership, physicians and other stakeholders, the Medical Oncologist will develop policies, procedures, rules and regulations of the Programme.

The medical oncologist will be a member of the faculty team.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate should have a postgraduate degree in internal medicine and recognized training in medical oncology from a recognized University.

S/he should be certified as a Medical Oncologist for a minimum of 10 years.

The candidate should be licensed or eligible for license to practice in Kenya.

Evidence of experience in University teaching and academic research and publications will be an advantage.
