Reporting to the Managing Director, the PR Manager will be responsible for managing existing clients as well as pitching for new business to grow the PR department.

Excellent communication skills with a flair in writing.
Strong leadership qualities.
An excellent understanding of the local media matched by a well developed network
Be creative enough to get involved in the preparation of publicity and promotional materials.
Self-driven with great project management skills.
The ability to think outside the box and innovate
The ability to anticipate and react quickly in situations of crisis.
Adept in event management including organizing press conferences, exhibitions, and any other events that PMS clients may be running.
Good judgment, initiative and the capacity to multi task
30 – 40 years old.
All these competencies will be supported by:
A degree in Mass Communication preferably with a major in Public Relations.
Or a first degree in (Mass) Communication and a post graduate diploma in PR or journalism.
At least 5 years working experience, the last two which will be in a similar position.
