Oserian Development Company Researcher Career Opportunity in Naivasha

Oserian Development Company Limited is one of Kenya’s leading growers and exporters of fresh cut- flowers based in Naivasha. We are seeking to recruit a young, dynamic and ambitious professional to join our team in the capacity mentioned above.

Reporting to the Research & Development Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for trial work which includes preparation of trial proposals, execution (including set-up and data collection), statistical analyses and scientific reporting among other responsibilities

We wish to discuss this position with interested applicants who have the following minimum qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Sciences
• Formal training with emphasis on research (experimental designs, statistical analysis etc) either by university training or experience
  
  
• Must have proven exposure to appropriate agricultural or biological research
• Experience with IPM programs will be an added advantage.

Furthermore she/he will have the following attributes:

• Strong analytical skills and able to think independently.
• Ability to establish and maintain a good working relationship with staff and other departments and ensure smooth running of the section.
• Must be at least 24 years of age.
• Should have excellent communication skills ( both oral and written)
