In Kenya, the group operates under three legal entities namely Old Mutual Life assurance Company limited (OMLAC), Old Mutual Asset Managers Limited (OMAM) and Old Mutual Investment services Limited (OMIS). Old Mutual Kenya has a workforce of 143 employees and 800 sales agents.
We are currently undergoing an expansion drive in which we aim to extract value from our expanded distribution network while offering products consistent with client needs.
Sales Managers
We are seeking to recruit highly motivated, self-driven individuals within our life company for the position of Sales Managers.
The key roles and responsibilities for this role include:
· Developing, managing and delivering the agency sales targets in line with the company sales strategy
· Managing the activity of the agency sales force to ensure they achieve the required productivity within the set standards
· Recruiting qualified and competent advisors in line with the company’s recruitment guidelines
· Ensuring that the sales team is well equipped with skills to facilitate market penetration
· Providing support to the sales team in accessing the market to achieve targeted sales
· Establishing and maintaining a sound client base, establishing sales leads and managing client relations
· Ensuring compliance to company policy and procedures within the agency
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in sales management and should possess a degree or a diploma in a business related field.
Essential attributes for this role are team leadership skills, good oral and written communication. To be successful in this role you will need to have a high sales drive and ability to motivate and work within teams.
