Somalia NGO Safety Program (NSP) Jobs: Training Manager and Information & Analysis Manager

The Somalia NGO Safety Program (NSP) aims to reduce the risks posed to program personnel and assets of NGOs operating in Somalia through the provision of coordinated and tailored security analysis and management support.
NSP provides regular reporting and analysis of the significant developments in Somalia and the region, specialist
safety advice to individuals and agencies, security training including first aid training at the individual and senior management level, and in select cases critical incident management support.
Danish Refugee Council (DRC) serves as a host for the NGO Security Program, and is seeking qualified individuals for the following positions:

1. Training Manager

The Training Manager will be responsible for the capacity building component and part of the response component of NSP. The purpose of this position is to organize and conduct relevant and cost effective trainings to NGOs operating in Somalia, and support NGOs during crisis management.
Key responsibilities include conducting HEIST training and other security training packages, assess security training
needs of NGOs operating in Somalia, promote compliance with security measures, and follow up with the impact of the trainings.
2. Information & Analysis Manager
The Information & Analysis Manager will be responsible for the Information and Analysis component and part of the response component of NSP. The purpose of the position is to organize collection of relevant information and propose high quality security and geopolitical analysis and briefs to NGOs operating in Somalia.
Key responsibilities include sourcing, processing and analyzing of complex information for the production of regular security reports, including indepth reports identifying trends in the current Somali context providing lessons learnt from incidents occurrence and making projections based on referenced historical and current information.
