The Aga Khan University, invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following positions:

Full Time Faculty, Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Reporting to the Chair, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, the incumbent will provide specialist services in family planning/ HIV/ reproductive health, in addition to general Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

S/he will be involved in teaching of residents, provision of administrative leadership and participation in departmental and organizational performance improvement activities.

Applicants should hold a MMed (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) or its equivalent and Specialist recognition in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

S/he should have at least two (2) years of experience in family planning, reproductive health and HIV care and be registered/ eligible for registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

Market Analyst

Reporting to the Executive Officer, Faculty of Arts and Science, East Africa, the Market Analyst will initially work as part of a team together with a major international firm in an initial market study, and will then lead a team of 2 to continue analysis of current and future demands of various stakeholders as well as supply and environmental factors such as student, faculty and staff intake and feasibility of various programmes.

Applicants for the position should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area (e.g. BComm Marketing or Economics) with at least 2 years of field experience. A Master’s degree would be desirable. S/he should have an eye for detail, with exceptional organizational skills, and should be able to work with a fast-moving team in a goal-oriented environment. Prior research experience is desirable. The candidate should be creative and flexible.
