Our client, a market leader in East Africa in the office equipment and business solutions industry, is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to develop and implement strategies to promote its brand.

Based at the company’s head office in Nairobi and reporting to an Executive Director, the person appointed will coordinate all public relations, advertising, promotional activities and will act as an internal image consultant, ensuring appropriate alignment across the company’s operating divisions.

Applicants should have a degree in marketing or business studies and should have had at least ten years experience in brand management, public relations or image consultancy, preferably in a multinational corporation though not necessarily in the same industry.

Innovative and dynamic, they will have the vision and flair to help the company not only to retain its market leadership but to be recognized as being in a league of its own in terms of product and service excellence.

Outstanding verbal and written communications skills are an essential pre-requisite, as are the interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally with a well-educated and culturally diverse team as well as with customers and service providers.
