Kenya Institute of Administration (KIA) is a premier Training, Research and Consultancy Institute in Public Service.

We are seeking suitable candidates to fill the positions of 
Associate Professors in Public Administration and Management.
Key Results Areas will include:
  • Design, develop and deliver a range of learning and development programmes in Public Administration or Management
  • Prepare training materials for courses delivery such as training manuals and course packages
  • Initiate and co-ordinate, collaborative research and consultancy in Public Administration or Management

  • Conduct research and publish in refereed journals
  • Provide thought leadership for product and service innovations
  • Provide the necessary liaison between the Institute and the clients
  • Carry out any other assignment as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience:
  • PhD degree in Public Administration, Management, Education or related field.
  • 8 years of teaching experience in the University or Management Development Institute
  • Research and Consultancy in Management and Governance
  • Published in related field at least four (4) articles in refereed journals/a book or book chapters in the last four (4) years
  • Management and Leadership experience in Public Service
  • Supervised research projects/Thesis for graduate students
  • Evidence of Community Service
  • Excellent team player and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in ICT
