Carlile College (on Jogoo Road, opposite St. Stephen’s Church) is the training centre for Church Army Africa whose primary mandate is to equip leaders for ministry with a view to transform societies holistically through the local Church.
The Board of Directors hereby advertise the position of College Principal.
Job Title: College Principal
Reports to: 
Board of Directors.
Appraised by: Chairman Board of Directors

Station: Carlile College – Jogoo Road
Responsibilities:
1.      To provide the vision, leadership and direction of the College under the oversight of the Board, aligned with the vision and Mission of Church Army Africa.
2.      To lead the staff in the implementation of the corporate plan.
3.      To work with the General Secretary’s office at the management level for accountability and enhancement of proper governance.
4.      To work with the Cariile College Board as the primary change agent for the College.
5.      To provide leadership and management oversight of all aspects of the College’s life.
6.      To oversee the finances of the College and to spearhead fundraising initiatives and donor relations.
7.      To expand and develop the College’s ministry in sustainable ways in line with the College’s Vision and Mission,
8.      To represent the College and develop its networks at senior level in the Anglican Church across Africa and other Churches around the world.
9.      To provide leadership of the University vision.
10.  To act as Director of Education for Church Army in all its education ministries.
Qualifications:
The applicants must meet the following qualifications for the job advertised:
1.      The candidate must be an Anglican born again Christian leader of sound standing in society.
2.      Must have a Doctorate degree in Social Sciences. Preference will be given to those with additional background in Theology or Missiology. Church Army training background will be of great advantage.
3.      Minimum of at least five years experience in teaching/lecturing at post-degree level in an institution of Higher learning. Preference will be given to those with experience in institutional management.
4.      Formal training in management discipline will be an added advantage but not a priority.
