In this role you will be responsible for keeping financial records, producing financial reports, processing payroll and other statutory monthly obligations as well as providing financial support to Christian Aid staff. The role will be based in Nairobi.
You will have strong background knowledge of finance systems and bookkeeping. Able to work with minimum supervision, you will be able to prepare and collate financial documentation, maintain accurate cash and bank books, ensure monthly accounts and returns are produced in a timely manner, and are able to extract reports from financial and administrative systems to review the status of budget.

This role requires a CPA part II or equivalent, strong interpersonal skills, exposure to computerized accounting and database systems, purchase ledger work, proficiency in spreadsheet and work processing packages and knowledge of working in the NGO sector. Fluency in English language is mandatory.
