Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager 4u2 & Angelo brands has end-to-end value chain responsibility for developing and entrenching the brands in new markets.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Entrench the 4u2 and Angelo brands in suitable markets and locations, leveraging available growth opportunities;
  • Develop business strategies and build a working team that will deliver on agreed business plans;
  • Incorporate research feedback into developing informed ideas and styles;
  • Maximise delivery of the customer service and  brand portfolio proposition;
  • Achieve sales targets  and maximise profitability for stakeholders;
  • Research, develop  and exploit  new business opportunities;
  • Manage Board and stakeholders relationships;
  • Keep abreast of customer requirements and market trends for informed sourcing of quality merchandise;
  • Manage and ensure the sourcing of quality merchandise that will satisfy customer demands;
  • Monitor the supply chain for timely delivery of merchandise to required locations;
  • Ensure the proper management of all retail outlets, for quality customer service, appropriate visual standards and sales performance;
  • Represent the brands both internally and externally;
  • Develop, coach and lead staff in the working for the brand.
The successful candidate is likely to have:

  • At least 8 years experience in retail, sales, marketing management or related field;
  • Robust business acumen with a nose for business innovation and development;
  • Strong strategic thinker with a clear bias for flawless execution;
  • Extensive knowledge of product development and brand building in Kenya;
  • Solid knowledge of the local textile and footwear industry;
  • Demonstrates clear understanding of the supply chain networks and sourcing strategies both locally and internationally;
  • Demonstrable experience in building and leading high performing teams;
  • A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Fashion Design and Merchandising or related field.
