Key Responsibilities
Reporting to The Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Planning, coordinating and supervising all the activities within Accounting Department, including allocation of duties and staff appraisal .
- Preparation and presentation of periodical Financial Statements in due time and in accordance with set deadlines, ensuring accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Maintenance of a variety of financial records and reports, including those related to the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, job costing, inventories, budgets and fixed assets;
- Consolidation of Group Financial reports
- Tax Management including VAT, PAYE and Corporate Tax ensuring Compliance at all times.
- Prepare monthly payroll for the Group ensuring timely statutory returns
- Must have experience in stock taking procedures including stock re-valuation preferably in manufacturing sector
- Facilitating and managing External Audits
- Bank reconciliation statements for all accounts local and foreign currency.
Qualifications and Competences
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Business Management
- CPA (K) or Equivalent
- Over 5 years progressive post qualification experience
- Working experience of ERP Systems a MUST (Knowledge of Scala 5 and/or Navision advantage)
- Strong Analytical and people management skills
- Ability to work in a demanding Office environment
