The New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Limited is one of the leading Dairy Companies in the country re-known for its world class brands that include KCC Butter, Ghee, Cheese, Gold Crown, Safariland Powder and Mala among others.
We wish to recruit dynamic and result driven professionals to fill the following positions:
1. Executive Administrative Assistant
HR/EAA/2010/01
Reporting to the Managing Director. The Executive Administrative Assistant overall purpose will be the administration of the Managing Director’s Office.
The candidate
The right candidate must possess the following:-
  • Must have a Bachelor Degree in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Must have at least 5 to 6 years experience in a similar position in a busy environment.
  • Must be a computer literate.
  • Qualifications in CPS will be an added advantage.
Essential Skills

  • Should be a person of high integrity.
  • Excellent communication and good interpersonal skills.
  • Must be willing to work under pressure.
2. Administrative Assistant
HR/AA/2010/02
Reporting to the Company Secretary. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the following:
  • Preparing and coordinating with the Board Committee members, as well as Management Committee members.
  • Maintaining a schedule of meetings,
  • Issuing notices of various meeting within the Company.
  • Organizing meeting documentations.
  • Updating register of attendance and typing of minutes.
  • Receiving, screening and logging internal and external correspondences in a confidential manner.
  • Maintaining the safe custody of Securities (Titles, Charges, Debentures, Company Seal, Contracts, Agreements etc.
  • Receiving and Responding to calls and visitors on queries.
  • Following up on Insurance claims with agents and reporting on the same.
  • Compiling records of Insurance policies and transaction covering risks to properties, equipments, and vehicles.
  • Monitoring a calendar of premiums due and expirations dates of policies.
  • Preparing payment of premiums and verifying that payments have been made.
  • Filling in data on renewal policy applications and forwarding applications to the insurance company.
  • Notifying the insurance company of changes in properties, equipments or vehicles that may affect insurance coverage.
  • General office administration including photocopying and filling.
The candidate
The right candidate must possess the following:-
  • Must be a holder of Bachelor degree in Law (LLB) or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Must have at least 1 to 2 years experience in a similar position in a busy environment.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Knowledge in insurance administration will be an added advantage.
Essential Skills
  • Should be a person of high integrity
  • Must have good organization and communication skills.
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have an experience in solving conflicts.
  • Must be willing to work under pressure.
