Finance and Administration Officer Job Vacancy

General Purpose
Our client, a local NGO based in Nairobi, is looking for a Finance and Administration Officer.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
  • General ledger operations
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Assist in budgets and forecasts
  • Account/bank reconciliations
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
Education and Experience

  • Has completed CPA Section IV
  • A business related degree will be an added advantage
  • Has at least one year experience of general accounting
