Market Inspector 1
SS. 10
Salary: Kshs. 226,800-333,300 p.a [House Allowance 12,000/=]
Qualifications and Skills
  • KCE Div. III or K.C.S.E C- and above
  • Must have satisfactorily served as a Market Inspector II for a minimum period of 3 years.
  • Must have C.P.A. III
  • At least a Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting.
  • Computer literate.
Duties and Responsibilities.

  • In charge of all Council markets
  • Responsible for revenue collection including realization of set revenue targets.
  • Supervising all the revenue collectors and enforcement of market By-laws.
Assistant Community Development Officer
SS. 10
Salary: Kshs. 226,800-333,300 p.a [House Allowance 12,000/=]
Qualifications and Skills
  • Must have a minimum grade of C- [ K.C.S.E] or Div. III[K.C.E]
  • Must possess a Diploma in Community Development or Social work.
  • Must have served satisfactorily as a C.D.A. for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Qualification in Public relations will be an asset.
  • Computer literate.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Head of Community Department.
  • Duties of Public Relations.
  • Mobilising Community in identifying development needs and projects in monitoring implementation.
  • Monitoring service delivery to the public, implementation of service Charter and carrying out baseline surveys.
  • Implementation of HIV/Aids programmes.
