We offer volunteering opportunities to professionals who would like to share their skills and expertise with local partners, to find long-term solutions to poverty.
VSO Jitolee is currently looking for committed professionals with skills and expertise in:
Natural Resource Management
  • Agricultural Specialists: Agribusiness;
  • Agriculture Economics and Horticultural Specialists.
Business Management
  • Business & Management Specialists;
  • Monitoring & Evaluation Specialists;
  • Financial Managers: Microenterprise
  • Specialists and Marketing Specialists.
HIV & AIDS

  • Specialists in ART Management HIV & AIDS
  • Programme Managers and VCT Managers.
Fundraising
  • Fundraisers; Specialists in Grant Management and Partnership Development.
Advocacy
  • Policy Analysts; Advocacy Specialists and Communication Specialists.
You will need:
  • A relevant university degree and more than 3 years work experience in the skill areas listed above.
  • Be willing to work overseas for I to 2 yrs and be ready to depart within the next 3-4 months.
  • Be serious about using your skills to make a positive and lasting impact towards the development of some of the most disadvantaged communities in the world
  • Knowledge of working with vulnerable groups will be an added advantage,
