We are looking for enthusiastic, self driven and results oriented professionals who will be associated with our success to fill the following position.
Operations Manager – Southern Sudan
He/She will play a key role as a member of the Company’s management team, responsible for operational efficiencies in order to ensure a competitive advantage for the company and also provide decision support on operational matters to the Managing Director
Key tasks will include
- developing the company’s Operations Strategy,
- reviewing the Company’s Operations strategy and ensure its effectiveness,
- developing appropriate strategies that will promote the company’s operations and ensure timely implementation,
- overseeing the Underwriting, Claims, Product Development, Customer Service and Premium Processing functions,
- developing a robust Reinsurance Program, putting in place standards for the company and interdepartmental service level agreements that will improve the company’s service ratings,
- enhancing operational efficiency for the Underwriting, Claims and Customer Service functions,
- ensuring proper operating guidelines are in place in line with company policy and regulatory requirements and monitor compliance, setting and monitoring Operations Budgets,
- ensure that the underwriting policies reflect the Company’s strategic risk management framework and are observed at all times,
- ensuring that service to customers and producers meets their expectations,
- ensuring that the Company’s procurement is cost effective, efficient and done professionally and in accordance with the Company policy,
- supporting the company’s strategic plan by ensuring a reliable Customer relationship Management system and
- ensuring appropriate staffing levels, effective performance management and motivation of staff.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Social or Business Studies, FLMI or ACII MBA is an added advantage, Minimum of 7 years experience at senior management level in an insurance company, computer literacy and knowledge of personal computers and software packages such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Access.
