Advertisement for a Board Member to Represent Non-Governmental Organizations Working in the Water Sector in the Kiwasco Board of Directors
The Municipal Council of Kisumu being the sole shareholder of Kisumu Water and Sewerage Company Limited wish to invite applications to join our Board of Directors representing the Municipal Council of Kisumu.
The applicants should be drawn from a Non-Governmental Organization with a presence in the area of jurisdiction of the Council working in the Water Sector.
Applicants must have the following qualifications and experience:-
- Be educated to at least “O” level or higher levels of education will be an added advantage.
- Experience in formulating policies, strategies and business plans at senior management level in public, large private sector or NGO.
- Demonstrate experience in business or any profession for at least 7 years.
- Demonstrate participation and involvement in local development.
- Demonstrate experience in change management.
- Knowledge of Water Sector Reforms will be an added advantage.
- Be a resident of Kisumu and a consumer of KIWASCO water
- Be above 21 years of age and below 70 years.
All applications must be accompanied with a detailed Curriculum Vitae and signed by the applicant, and copies of Academic Certificates and an endorsement by stakeholders in the segment.
