CORAT Africa is a Pan African Christian Organization involved in provision of Leadership Development, Management Training, Research and Consultancy services to churches and church related organizations in Africa.
CORAT Africa is seeking for applications from qualified candidates to fill the Position below:
Job title: Marketing Officer
Reports to: Executive Director, Business Development
Job Purpose
Responsible for development, execution and evaluation of marketing strategies in line with CORAT’s products; which are
(a) Learning and capacity Development
(b) Consultancy and Research
(c) Conference and Accommodation
(d) Publication.
The position performs all marketing, advertising and promotional activities as directed by the Executive Director, Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market all products of CORAT Africa. These are Learning and capacity Development, Consultancy and Research, Conference and Accommodation facilities and Publication.
  • Build professional relationships that meet CORAT’s core values; Namely; Biblical principles, Integrity, Professionalism and Stewardship while maintaining positive relationships with clients and donors.
  • Establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all other departments.
  • Assist in executing the overall business development and marketing strategies to deliver the set targets and objectives as agreed.
  • In consultation with the supervisor, identify areas and opportunities for market expansion as well as inform the organization of market dynamics, customer needs and competitor activities.
  • Conduct market research and intelligence to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results to the supervisor.
  • Prepare proposals and quotations for clients and funders.
  • Develop promotional opportunities and ideas from conception through to delivery.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
Education and Experience
  • A bachelors degree in Marketing or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution of higher learning. A master’s degree in Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • At least three years experience in all aspects of developing and executing marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Experience in corporate communication will be an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics requirements.
  • Proven experience in customer and market research
  • Must be a committed Christian.
