Marketing and Commercial Strategy for Entebbe International Airport

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is a government statutory entity responsible for the promotion of safe, secure and efficient development of Civil Aviation inside and outside Uganda.
1. CAA is embarking on a process to formulate a marketing and commercial plan that will ensure that marketing and commercial activities are implemented in a more consistent way. This will in turn enhance the revenue base for the Authority (both aeronautical and non aeronautical).
2. The Authority has allocated funds to be used for the development of the Marketing and Commercial Strategy for Entebbe International Airport and invites sealed bids from eligible, competent and reputable firms.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open International Bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and are open to all bidders from eligible source countries.
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non.refundable fee of Ug Shs 100,000 (One hundred thousand only) or US$ 50 (United States Dollars fifty only) payable, in cash, at CAA cash office, 2nd floor, Entebbe International Airport Terminal Building. The document should be collected immediately after payment.

5. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before Wednesday, 7th July 2010 at 10:30 am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of USD $1,000).
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on Wednesday, 7th July 2010 at 10:35 am in the CAA Boardroom.
