The company is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the following vacancy: Technical Systems Administrator
Brief Description:
Reporting to IT Manager, Technical Systems Administrator will be a key member of a dynamic IT team responsible for the company’s various IT and Communications systems. He/She will be responsible for the administration of KPRL’s LAN and WAN systems, namely:-
- Installation, maintenance and updating of operating systems and business application systems throughout the company’s ICT network, ensuring optimum system performance;
- Ensuring that disciplined on-line and off-line backup procedures required by the system are implemented and adhered to;
- Continuously monitoring system resources, performing systems tuning, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems associated with business systems;
- Creating and maintaining users and security profiles in the business systems as required by the company;
- Planning and implementing Local Area Network and Wide Area Network Infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (or its equivalent, with post graduate professional studies in IT)
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
Requirements:
- Windows Server Operating System Administration
- Microsoft Exchange and Outlook
- Desktop and Server Troubleshooting experience
- Proficiency in LAN/WAN Infrastructure Topology
- Project Management experience with track record of delivering software and IT infrastructure projects
- Oracle RDBMS and SQL Administration
- Experience in Routing and Firewalls
- At least 4 years experience of Windows Server systems administration
