Kenya Ministry of State for Defence (KMOD) PEPFAR Programme – Laboratory Manager Job Vacancy

The Kenya Ministry of State for Defence (KMOD) PEPFAR Programme is supported by the Walter Reed Project and seeks to improve the management of HIV in the military throughout the country.
In order to continue providing the prequisite services to Kenya Military Personnel, KMOD PEPFAR Program seeks to recruit dynamic, innovative and experienced person to fill the following position:
Job Title: Laboratory Manager
(1 Position)
The incumbent will oversee and provide Lab managerial services to the KMOD/WRP PEPFAR Program.
Minimum Requirement:
  • Degree or Advanced Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences
  • Valid Registration from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians/Technologist board
  • At least 2 years working experience in a busy clinical laboratory
  • Experience with ordering of reagents and other lab supplies
  • Experience with CD4 counts and HIV PCR is a must
