Human Resource Manager
Main Purpose of the Job
The main role of the Head of Human Resource is to direct and manage all areas of human resource management functions to include human resource strategic planning and organizational development for the Corporation:
  • Design, plan, and develop HR strategy and policies for the Corporation. This includes; performance management organizational development and cultural transformation e.t.c.
  • Design, plan, and develop talent acquisition and management through placements, development and retention strategy
  • Implement and manage strategic HR projects and initiatives
  • Initiate, facilitate and coordinate change management
  • Lead the Ethics Committee in ensuring that our staff know the Corporation’s code and live by it

  • Facilitate and coordinate all coaching and mentoring programs and training activities and ensure all departments pursue the philosophy of continuous improvement
  • Facilitate and coordinate HR solutions (policy, process, product and information)
  • Capital planning which includes forecasting the Corporation’s current and future needs
  • Lead organizational assessments and develop strategies and tactics to address current issues and future needs
  • Aligning the business and people strategies to drive business growth and performance
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management/a degree in Social Sciences with a post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management
  • Masters of Business Administration degree in Human Resource Management/ Strategic Management field will be an added advantage
  • A result driven and dynamic person with a minimum of 8 years experience in senior management position in a large organization
  • Ideally aged between 35-45 years
  • Exposed to working with a Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
  • Proven skills in Human Resource management of huge workforce
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively evaluate current HR practices and procedures and make recommendations and benchmark best practices for change
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively execute against the strategy and drive results
Chief Supplies Officer
Main Purpose of the Job
The main role of the Chief Supplies Officer is to assist the Procurement Manager in efficient and transparent management of procurement functions of the organization. Ensure compliance with all the relevant procurement
legislation and procedures.
  • Assist the Procurement Manager in preparing the yearly procurement plan
  • Planning, implementing and controlling the efficient and effective forward and reverse flow and storage of goods and services
  • Follow up and ensure that procured goods and services are delivered on time
  • Assist in procuring goods and services timely and cost effective as per the procurement plan
  • Prepare reports and correspondence (such as status of requisitions, purchase orders, shipments and complaints) related to the assigned products
  • Assisting in the review and acceptance of simple contract documents (such as maintenance agreements e.t.c.)
  • Providing oral and written interpretation of policies and procedures, rules and regulations, revised statutes and internal guidelines to personnel and vendors
  • Preparing requests for a quotation/bid for review by the Procurement Manager and making recommendations for the award of purchase orders to the winning bidder
  • Soliciting telephone bids and maintaining commodity bid lists
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Purchasing and Supply Management with a post graduate diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution
  • A result driven and dynamic person with a minimum of 5 years experience in purchasing management acquired in a reputable organization
  • Ideally aged between 30-40 years
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a staff team
  • Unquestionable integrity and ability to use computers (Ms Excel, MS Word and Ms PowerPoint) for detailed analysis
  • Exposure in both private and public institutions will be an added advantage
