The United States Embassy – Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Kenya has two vacancies in Nairobi for Influenza Medical Epidemiologist.
The Influenza Epidemiologist will assist the Influenza Program of CDC Kenya in the Nairobi office.
Specifically, this position will be involved in supporting field activities and leading the influenza sentinel surveillance program.
Requirements:
- Medical qualification (MBChB or equivalent) degree is required.
- 1- 2 years in a hospital setting is required;
- 1 year of supervisory experience also required.
- Level IV (fluent) English is required.
- Must have technical knowledge of epidemiology and public health.
- Must have technical experience and knowledge of managing programs.
- Must have computer and data management skills.
