Position: Guest House Manager
CHAK Guest House & Conference Centre is a Christian guest house located in the New Lavington Area in Nairobi, off Waiyaki Way. We offer quality conferencing, restaurant and accommodation services to corporate and individual clients at competitive rates. We are seeking to recruit a committed Christian with business management and leadership qualities to the position of Guest House Manager.
Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Guest House Management Committee (Board), the incumbent will be expected to:
  • Lead development and implementation of the guest house business strategy and annual business plans
  • Lead a dynamic professional team in the delivery of quality hospitality services that meet customer satisfaction at all times
  • Oversee service quality improvement initiatives through total quality management
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy that will ensure business growth and profitability
  • Oversee high standards of hygiene and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements
Qualifications and experience

  • A Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management from a recognized institution
  • At least 3 years post qualification experience in a relevant hotel management position
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, team player and willingness to work for long hours
  • Fully computer literate
